Print Monkey is officially 2 years old in January and as we are at the start of not only a new year but a new decade, we thought we would share with you some of our goals and dreams, both professional and personal, for this year!
It’s been hard work getting the business to this point and I think at times it is important to stop and look back at what we have achieved over the last two years! Our turnover in year 2 was more than 3 times that of year 1, no mean feat in what are being described as the worst economic conditions of recent history.
Whilst I am incredibly pleased with the success of the business to date, I want to continue to grow and evolve the business. Having Andy on board now will make this task a lot easier. Our concentration for 2010 needs to be on new business whilst continuing to support, service & provide for our existing clients.
On a personal level, I am looking forward to helping out in Finn’s class, listening to a whole heap of 5 & 6 year olds read – this truly does give me a break from the commerciality of the business. I am hoping also to be a whole lot fitter in the coming months – Andy mentioned something about mountain biking to work!!
Here’s to a happy, healthly and prosperous 2010!
Over the last 2 years Print Monkey has evolved from a dream into a profitable business. It’s not been easy but anything worth doing generally isn’t!
I’ve always thought it is important to enjoy what you do for a living. I was once told Find a job you love and never work a day again!
And so to 4th Jan 2010, I’m here at Monkey HQ with a smile a mile wide and the view is quite nice too – I sit opposite Emma!
We have a few key areas of growth we are focusing on for 2010 and I have my sleeves rolled up ready to graft!
Personally I am looking forward to working closer to home, after commuting to Brum for 10 years. The 4 miles to Monkey HQ is fantastic and even better on two wheels!
